Private lessons are without question the best way to learn or improve your skills as a musician. For over fifteen years, I have been offering music lessons to students of all ages and levels of experience. My curiosity has led me to explore many genres in great detail - I believe versatility is one of the greatest assets an instructor can offer to students. 

 

I provide differentiated instruction and assessment to everyone that I work with. My teaching career has given me a broad perspective on the learning process, allowing for a personalized approach, tailored to each student's individual goals and interests.

 

I specialize in teaching proper technique. Through correct hand and wrist positioning, I've been able to minimize or eliminate pain for those with long term injuries. If you are pain free, that's great, and paying some attention to your technique, posture, and breathing will serve as a preventative measure, and also make playing and practicing much more enjoyable.
